Terms and Conditions – Essteele ‘Snap a Selfie’ Instagram Competition:  

Win 1 of 5 $100 Digital Myer Gift Card 

  1. Promotional Period: 
    The competition runs from 22nd November 07:30am AEDT to 6th December 2024 11:59pm AEDT
  2. Eligibility: 
    This competition is open to Australian residents. Employees of Meyer Cookware Australia, their immediate families, and associated agencies are ineligible to enter. 
  3. How to Enter: 
    To enter the competition, during the Promotional Period participants must: 
  • Be an eligible person 
  • Visit any Myer store in Australia
  • Take a selfie in front of the Essteele cookware product section 
  • Share the selfie to an Instagram post or story and tag @essteeleau or send the image via Direct Message (DM) to Essteele’s official Instagram account. 
  1. Instagram Entry Conditions:
  • The Instagram account used to enter must be public for the entry to be valid. 
  • Only one (1) entry is allowed per person for the duration of the competition. 
  • Any inappropriate or offensive content will result in disqualification at the discretion of Essteele. 
  1. Prizes: 
    There are five (5) prizes to be won, each winner will win a $100 Myer eGift Card. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. Unused portions of prizes will be forfeited, and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element of the prize.

Total Prize Pool $500. GST does not apply to the issuing of gift cards 

  1. Winner Selection: 
    Winners will be selected randomly (using a random number generator) from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period. The draw will take place on December 9th, 2024, 11am AEDT at Meyer Cookware Australia, 1/19 Merrindale Road, Croydon, Vic. 
  2. Winner Announcement: 
    Winners will be announced via: 
  • Direct Message (DM) on Instagram. 
  • Email (if provided). 
  • Essteele’s Instagram Story (@essteeleau) on December 9th, 2024, 12pm AEDT.
  1. Prize Claim: 
    Winners must respond to the Direct Message or email within 14 days to claim their prize. Failure to do so may result in the prize being forfeited, and a new winner may be drawn. 
  2. Myer e-Gift Card Delivery: 
    The Prize will be delivered electronically via the email address provided by the winner. Allow up to 5 business days after the providing Meyer Cookware Australia with the email address where the e-Gift Card is to be send to.
  3. Multiple Entries: 
    Only one (1) entry is permitted per person. Multiple entries from the same individual will be considered invalid. 
  4. Privacy: 
    By entering this competition, participants consent to Promoter using their submitted images for promotional purposes without remuneration. Participants also agree to be contacted via Instagram DM or email regarding the competition and any related marketing promotions. 
  5. Disqualification: 
    Essteele reserves the right to disqualify any entries deemed fraudulent or in violation of these terms and conditions. 
  6. Changes to Promotion: 
    Essteele reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. 
  7. Social networking site
  • The Competition is conducted via the Social Networking Site - Instagram. Rules governing the use of the Social Networking Site should be adhered to at all times. 
  • Entrants acknowledge that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with the Social Networking Site.
  • Entrants acknowledge that any information they provide in connection with the Competition is provided to the Promoter and not to the Social Networking Site.
  • Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competition will be directed to the Promoter and not to the Social Networking Site. 
  • Entrants release the Social Networking Site and its associated companies from all liability arising in respect of the Competition, to the extent allowable by law. 
  1. General
  • Where prizes are lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with, for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter is not liable.
  • Except to the extent required by any law, including the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter and its associated companies make no warranties or representations about the fitness for purpose or suitability of any prize and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness for any purpose of any prize or the failure of any prize to be of acceptable quality.
  • These Terms and Conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these Terms and Conditions to be void. 
  • Gift Cards cannot be used for the payment of credit or store accounts. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged. Gift Cards expire two years from the issue date. Any unused amount after the expiry date of the Gift Card will not be refunded or credited. Gift Cards are not reloadable.   • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings. Entrants should seek independent financial advice prior to entering the Promotion.
  • Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period. Email and electronic entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
